Arras is just small enough for you to enjoy over a leisurely walk along the two great squares providing a splendid collection of 155 unique façades of Flemish baroque architecture, with stop at the many bars and cafés along the way for refreshments.
Explore hidden gems such as Wellington Tunnels, Memorial to the Battle of Arras and Château de Cercamp. Your inner history buff will appreciate Necropole Nationale Francaise de Notre-Dame de Lorette and Carriere Wellington, Memorial de la Bataille d'Arras. Change things up with a short trip to Dud Corner Cemetery in Caubios-Loos (about 38 minutes away). There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Grand Place, admire the masterpieces at St Vaast, stroll the grounds of Faubourg-d'Amiens Cemetery, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise Saint Jean Baptiste.
