Get some historical perspective at Palatine Hill and Colosseum. Do some cultural sightseeing at Piazza Navona and St. Peter's Basilica. The adventure continues: admire the striking features of Pantheon, admire the masterpieces at Borghese Gallery, explore the ancient world of Foro di Augusto, and take a stroll through Trastevere.

The famous setting for Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, Verona is one of northern Italy's main tourist destinations, largely owing to its incredibly rich artistic heritage.
On the 27th (Wed), explore the galleries of Castelvecchio Museum, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di San Zeno Maggiore, explore the historical opulence of Piazzale Castel San Pietro, then admire the striking features of Casa di Giulietta, then wander the streets of Piazza delle Erbe, and finally explore the ancient world of Arena di Verona.

Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Get a sense of the local culture at Doges' Palace and St. Mark's Square. Visit Peggy Guggenheim Collection and Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute for their historical value. Change things up with a short trip to Scrovegni Chapel in Padua (about 42 minutes away). There's much more to do: explore the activities along Canal Grande, snap pictures at Ponte dei Sospiri, explore the world behind art at Gallerie dell'Accademia, and admire the landmark architecture of St Mark's Campanile.
