An hour's drive from Halifax's international airport, Luneburg boasts both colorful buildings and a colorful history, as well as status as a World Heritage Site.
Relax by the water at Summerville Beach Provincial Park and Carter's Beach. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Hirtle's Beach and Roseway Beach. Get out of town with these interesting Lunenburg side-trips: Rissers Beach Provincial Park (in Petite Riviere), Old Burial Ground (in Liverpool) and Ross Farm Museum (in New Ross).
