CN Tower, Toronto

4.2
Arguably Toronto's most recognizable attraction, CN Tower held the record for world's tallest building upon its completion in 1976. Still one of the world's highest towers, this spindly icon remains a landmark of the city skyline. Ride the glass elevator to the top, where on a clear day you can take in views of the city from 553 m (1,815 ft) in the air. If you choose to have a meal at the revolving restaurant, elevator access is free of charge. For an extra dose of adrenaline, daredevils can take a short walk around the edge of the tower's main pod, just above the restaurant. A visit to CN Tower represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Toronto trip planner to plot your vacation.

  • Prepare for more than 1 hour of row if doing well. Well organized, clean, good attraction. The rather high price. The documentary while one makes a rank is short and bad.

  • The views from the top are priceless. Climb to the Skypod, the highest point in the Western hemisphere.

  • Options, 38, 53, and 225 dollars. Visit enjoyable. Popular site for tourists. I advise you to go late in the day

  • A must see if you are visiting Toronto the first time. Do visit in the evening hours as then the city lights look awesome. I would recommend buying tickets online if you are planning to visit the adjoining Ripley’s aquarium as well as it is cheaper and this option not available if buying on site. To go up to the top of the tower you have to wait around an hour or so but even from the lower level the view is awesome. The partial glass floor is scary but awesome!! The staff in Red are very helpful and ready to answer all your questions. At the end of visit don’t forget to take a look at your pics which comes in different sizes and packages and not too expensive.
  • Visiting CN tower was as amazing experience as it was my first visit to some tower like that from where you can see whole of the town. I can say that you could see best view of Toronto from CN tower but condition is try to go on a today when there are clear skies otherwise you would miss a chance to experience the best views. You could also go to sky edge if you adventurous enough to lean down from the edge of the tower and could see the Toronto clearly while leaning, you can also walk on the edge of the CN tower in this. The normal ticket of CN tower gives you option to go to CN tower's sky walk too which in summers is open and provides you 360 degree panoramic view of Toronto. Also you can opt for complete city pass too which includes CN tower ticket as well and you have to view all of the things in 9 days once you have started using it. You can see in evening the perfect view of sunset on lake Ontario. So must go to CN tower if you are visiting Toronto.
  • What can I say other than this is a great place to see the city at an bird's eye view. The 360 restaurant is amazing and the gift shop is very reasonable. The other restaurant up above is great for breakfast and lunch. Also they do a nice job at keeping the tower relevant by always updating and adding attractions, making each visit a new adventure. It's a bit pricey to go up to the different levels and to do the sky walk but it's worth the money. Word of advise, go on a sunny day, otherwise you will only see clouds and you won't be able to appreciate the scenery.
  • Had a fantastic time the last time I went, planning on taking some family when the weather warms up. The rates were a little high, but that's to be expected of a tourist location. The views are amazing from up top, and their massive glass floor offers a stunning view of the world below as well. Staff had been great, I remember we were getting our picture taken and one staff member in particular was telling us some of the most wonderful jokes I've heard in a long time. His twin worked there as well apparently! It was fantastic.
  • Awesome 360 degree views. The wait for the elevator was not too bad. Take care when you step out onto the balcony on the lower deck. The wind is REALLY powerful at that height. Another "must do" is to lie down on the glass floor. Its the ultimate Acrophobia test !
