  • Bowering park is a beautiful . It changes from season to season. In the warmer months you can easily access all the trails. It is great for all ages. It has many amenities. During the warmer months it includes a seasonal splash pad, a swimming pool, a skate park, a pool house , duck ponds, rivers, a green house, and a kids play ground area. Also there is a bungalow inside the park where you can book events and have it catered. The trails are wonderful to discover. Some are designed for an easy stroll along the pathways laced with ornamental flowers and trees. Other's are a bit more challenging walking along side the beautiful Waterford Bridge River.
  • A wonderful city park and a geat asset to St. John's. The park has numerous trails, open spaces, ornimantal gardens and children's play areas. Wheelchair assess is ok if you pick your route carefully
  • Ecelent for the whole family... Wintertime exelent for walking sliding skating... Nice place
  • One of the best city parks in Canada, great trails beautifully laid out, lovely statuary, great water features. Great for a peaceful wander about
  • Had a great day at this beautiful park with visiting family members who also said the park was wonderful and very pretty. Had a small barbecue and enjoyed some hot dogs, fed the ducks, but unfortunately couldn't let the kids play in the splash pad area because someone had threw up in the pool and they had a shared filtration system. Great place to go overall. Even with the splash pad problem

This popular neighborhood displays the city's iconic, brightly painted Victorian houses, with a selection of guesthouses and inns clustered around Government House.
