  • A fantastic museum that is great for families. Many of the displays are interactive so children can enjoy them whilst informative labels for adults are on all displays. There are spacious elevators that go between all floors and the aisles are wide so it is pram friendly. If you are a local, this is a great place to take the children during the winter months. For visitors to the city, this is a must see attraction. My helpful tip. If you are from out of town the Best Western next door provides great accommodation that is within easy walking distance to the museum.
  • Exhibits are clearly labelled and well lit. The exhibits span four floors reachable through wide, expansive stairways and a spacious elevator that reaches all floors and special exhibits. Informative videos are included in almost all of the exhibits. Lots of things for children to do between exhibits. They have special exhibits for limited times. Parking is not free and the entry fee can be a bit pricey, but it's worth it if you can stay for a worthwhile time.
  • Had for a quick visit on Thursday evening, best time to go because of the free admission. Got to see a couple exhibits and then had to leave but some very interesting stuff. Also the nature trade is a cool con where you can bring something in knowing the details of it and can trade it for points. And the points can be used to redeem for items. Ranging from fossils to large pine cones.
  • A good museum. The Children's Museum inside is top notch! Lots of hands-on activities and learning. When we visited the museum it seemed like they were between installations so there wasn't much to see.
  • Lots of fun. Bring your own stroller as they only have 6. We went with a 2 year old, and were definitely thankful for finding an abandoned one. Enough stuff for kids of all ages to do.
