  • This place is fabulous! Even if you're not into bugs the building is worth the look. It is an old barn that has been refurbished, with huge beams and wooden interior. There's a butterfly pavilion with live butterflies from all over the world and you can even watch them come out of their cocoons! They have live and mounted displays of bugs from around the world and a working beehive that you can see right into! A must for young and old!
  • With Spring just around the corner, I had to pop in and leave a review for this wonderful place. My wife and I take our daughter here every year and we all have a great time in the butterfly pavilion and holding a variety of creatures such as the Giant Millipede and Macleay's Spectre. It's definitely a learning experience for all those who visit. I would recommend it to anyone.
  • Amazing experience. Dog kennels available. Cool exhibits.
  • The second floor exhibit is an interesting combination of museum style and live exhibits. Interpreters are on site to explain exhibits and will let you hold a number of insects including millipedes and stick bugs. They also have an functional glass beehive where you can observe the bees working. The butterfly exhibit is nice, though not exceptional.
  • If your in the area this is a must stop! The butterfly greenhouse is full of amazing butterflies from the tropics. Inside you will find insects from all over the world along with a section of native species. They also have a small cafe which serves ice cream and drinks.
